We, the undersigned, call on the Golden’s Bridge Fire District to reverse their decision to suspend Chief John Barrett and call on the district to allow Chief Barrett to remain fully installed as 1^st Assistant Chief of the Golden’s Bridge Fire Department effective immediately. Chief Barrett was suspended based upon assumptions made by a representative of the Golden’s Bridge Fire District prior to any due process within the Golden’s Bridge Fire Department. We, the undersigned, believe Chief Barrett’s many years of service to the Golden’s Bridge Fire Department and his exceptional value to the Department, District and community are unmatched in quality and are needed within the department. Chief Barrett should be afforded due process in regards to the circumstances surrounding the morning of January 26^th, 2010.
